Hi, I’m Erika, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern and EMDR-trained therapist dedicated to supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults as they navigate trauma, anxiety, life transitions, substance use recovery, and a wide range of emotional and relational challenges.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered. I tailor treatment to each individual’s needs, goals, and readiness for change, meeting clients where they are in their healing journey.

I integrate evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. These approaches allow me to help clients process difficult experiences, identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build practical coping skills that support long-term growth and resilience.

I have experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those recovering from substance use disorders. I am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care that honors each person’s identity, background, and lived experience.

In sessions, I focus on creating a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore both current struggles and underlying experiences that may be contributing to distress. Together, we work toward increasing insight, improving emotional stability, and developing healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.

My goal is to support clients in building a stronger sense of self, improving relationships, and moving toward a more balanced and meaningful life. Healing is a process, and I aim to walk alongside clients with compassion, patience, and clinical guidance throughout that journey.
