As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI), I am dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma, manage anxiety, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. I provide a compassionate, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
My work is grounded in trauma-focused therapy, with a particular emphasis on understanding how trauma affects the nervous system, emotional regulation, and core beliefs. I specialize in helping clients process difficult experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop a stronger sense of safety, resilience, and self-confidence.
I integrate several evidence-based therapeutic approaches into my practice, including:
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Inferential Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)
• Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
• Trauma-Focused Counseling
These approaches are especially effective for individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related emotional challenges. Every treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs, goals, and experiences of each client.
My passion for mental health is complemented by a lifelong interest in neuroscience, psychology, and the connection between lived experiences and emotional well-being. This perspective helps me provide thoughtful, evidence-based care that supports meaningful and lasting change.
For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling from a Christian perspective while maintaining respect for each person’s values, beliefs, and personal goals.
My goal is to help you move beyond survival mode, process the experiences that may be holding you back, and build the confidence and skills needed for lasting recovery, growth, and resilience.
