What will my first appointment be like?
Feeling nervous about therapy is totally normal. But being prepared and knowing what to expect can help ease some of your nerves. A therapist’s role is not to solve your problems or judge the people in your life. Instead, their aim is to help you focus on what you can change or control, such as your responses and choices. Most therapists encourage their clients to look inward, which may involve exploring past trauma, overcoming phobias, or improving interpersonal relationships. Your first therapy appointment will likely involve the therapist asking you questions about yourself, your symptoms, coping mechanisms, and therapy goals. This is also your chance to ask them questions, as well. Over time, therapy will get easier and you’ll start to see the many benefits.
Do you accept Medicare?
Yes. We accept Original Medicare for telehealth therapy services in Florida. Our team can help verify your benefits and explain your estimated cost before your first session.
How much will therapy cost?
The cost of therapy depends on your insurance plan. Many of our clients pay only a copay, which varies by policy.
For clients without insurance, we offer self-pay options. Please contact us for current rates.
How soon can I get an appointment?
We offer same-week availability in most cases. Appointment times depend on therapist availability and your scheduling preferences.
What happens during the first session?
Your first session is focused on understanding your concerns, goals, and personal history. Your therapist will ask questions to better understand your needs and begin developing a personalized treatment plan.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment directly through our website or contact our office. Our team will help match you with a therapist based on your needs and insurance coverage.
Are sessions confidential?
