My clinical orientation is primarily rooted in attachment theory, with integration of existential perspectives when helpful in understanding meaning, identity, and life experiences. I value both structure and exploration in the therapeutic process.
I strive to create a safe and contained therapeutic space where clients can explore themselves with autonomy. I may offer clinical insight, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations when appropriate, or simply provide a supportive presence. My role adapts to the needs of each client, whether that involves active feedback, reflection, or attentive listening.
I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive presentations, adjustment disorders, gender dysphoria, and eating-related concerns.
I also support clients navigating life transitions, childhood trauma, interpersonal difficulties, intrusive thoughts, behavioral patterns, self-esteem challenges, and issues related to identity and purpose.
My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
If you believe you may benefit from working together, I would be glad to connect with you for an initial session.
